Joseph Robert McKinney
Funeral services for Joseph Robert McKinney, 66, of Beaumont will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. McKinney died August 16, 2007 at his residence.
A native of Silsbee, Joe was a longtime resident of Beaumont. He worked as a pipefitter before retiring from Temple Inland – Evadale and was a member of the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Velva McKinney and parents Rena and Percy McKinney. Survivors include son Kevin Jones of Dallas; two daughters, Denise Lyons and husband Steven of Tyler and Stacee Rashall and husband Gary of Kountze; grandchildren Hannah Rashall and Nathaniel Rashall and step-daughters Christina Phelps and husband Curtis of Beaumont and Laura Tinsley of Vidor.
Pallbearers will be Mark Lee, Curtis Phelps, Jim Broumley, Allen Moon, Charlie Calhoun, Lester Toran, Chris McKinney and Allen McKinney.
