Funeral services for Clyde Hance Robert, 88, of Evadale will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Robert died August 26, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Iowa, Louisiana Clyde was a long time resident of Evadale. He was a retired truck driver and he proudly served his country during WWII.
Survivors include daughters Sylvia Maass of Orangefield and Vanessa Barclay of Silsbee; son Monroe Hare of Vidor; sister Dorothy Hagar of Evadale; eighteen grandchildren and ninety seven great grandchildren.
