Funeral services for Doris Marie Langton, 82, of Silsbee, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Langton died at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont on September 3, 2007.
Born in Browndell, she was a longtime resident of Silsbee. Doris was a member of the Silver Haired Legislature, Eastern Star and Friendship Baptist Church. She was a retired secretary for the superintendent of SISD.
Survivors include sons Bill Winger and John Winger; daughter Judy Frances Winger; brother Bob McClelland all of Silsbee; sisters Ginger Hays of Donnellson, IL and Jane Kirk of Silsbee; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

To Billy, John, Judy, Bob, Ginger and Jane:
We are sorry to hear about Doris, but we rejoice that she is in the arms of our Savior at peace and free from pain and suffering.
Doris was a blessing to all who knew her. She made a positive impact on everyone and was an inspiration to so many.

My codolences to the family. I will always remember your mother and sister as the "secretary who knew all" at SHS. Over the years, she helped keep hundreds of us straight.
