Wadie Mae 'Spud' Evans Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1902 - 2007 Wadie Mae ‘Spud’ Evans, 105, died November 6, 2007 at The Arboretum in Winnie. Mrs. Evans was a native of Sparta, Tx and had lived in Winnie several years. She was a retired florist. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her son Robert Doss Evans and grandson Ron L. Elmore. Survivors include her son Don L. Evans of Houston, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
