James Larry Davis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2007 Funeral services for James Larry Davis, 65, of Kountze will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Davis died December 17, 2007 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A Jasper County native he was a longtime resident of Hardin County. Mr. Davis was self-employed as a concrete contractor. He was a longtime member and past President of Travelers Protective Association (TPA) Post P of Texas. Survivors include wife Kathie Davis of Kountze, Texas; son Kelly James Davis of Houston; daughter Lisa Ann Graham of Lumberton; brothers Benny Winfred Davis and wife Janet of Santa Fe, Texas and Kenneth E. Davis and wife Rillie of Lumberton and granddaughter Leslie White. The family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Southeast Texas Humane Society.
