Beverly Patricia Black Phelps Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2007 Funeral services for Beverly Patricia Black Phelps, 74, of Evadale will be 10:00 am Friday, December 21, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment at 2:00 pm in Black Family Cemetery in Browndell. Mrs. Phelps died December 19, 2007 at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Evadale, Beverly was a retired RN. Mrs. Phelps was preceded in death by her son James Cecil Phelps Sr., parents James A. and Mary Ola Black and brothers, James Edward, George and Oland Black. Survivors include her husband Dale R. Phelps of Evadale; daughters Jackie Unger of Evadale and Mary Lea Palmer and husband Terry of Silsbee; son Ronnie Phelps of Evadale; daughter-in-law Doris Phelps of Silsbee; sister Barbara Ann Black and husband Charles Solly of Kirbyville; brothers Terry Black and wife Sandy of Kountze and Lynn Black and wife Nancy of Nacogdoches; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Dear Dale, Ronnie, Jackie, and Mary Lea, Was truly saddened to hear of Beverly's passing, tho I didn't find out till a couple of days after the funeral. (Heck, I didn't even know Jim was gone.) Yall have my deepest sympathy, but also my thanks for blessing me countless times through your music. Love, Jimmy Barlow Leonard, TX.
