Jane Ruth Richards, 63, of Lufkin, died April 14, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday April 16, 2008 at Wildwood Baptist Church in Village Mills, Texas. Farmers Funeral Home will handle cremation.
Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Jane resided in Beaumont, Silsbee, and Wildwood before moving to Lufkin. She was retired from Jones-Whitted Enterprises, Inc. in Silsbee.
Preceding her in death were parents Eugene and Vivian Saxe and daughter Jill Hoag.
She is survived by husband Patrick Richards of Lufkin; two sons Jeffrey and Joel Yarrington of Lumberton; daughter Becky Butler of Huntington; brother Steven Saxe of Duluth, Minnesota; and seven grandchildren.
Anyone who knew Jane, knew of her love for animals. It was her wish that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Countryside Veterinary Clinic, 380 N LHS Drive, Lumberton, Texas 77657.
