D. J. Spurlock, 76 of Silsbee passed away on Monday April 14, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont. She is survived by her husband Woody Spurlock and her sons Dale Graham and Calvin Spurlock. D. J. was also a proud grandparent of eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
D. J. was born in Britton, TX on June 15, 1931 and later moved to Silsbee, TX.
D. J. was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Tipps, her daughter Connie Drawhorn and son Alvin Spurlock.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A gathering of family and friends will be held after the service at the family home in Silsbee.
