
Hilda Collins King, 88, of Silsbee, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on April 18, 2008. She was born Feb. 11, 1920 in Omaha, Texas to the late Hinney Elizabeth Nixon Collins and James Zack Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 20 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Dr. Scott Moody and Rev. R. E. Barclay will be officiating. Visitation will be held April 19 from 5 to 8 pm at Farmer Funeral Home.
She was preceded by her husband of 61 years, Lish King, six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Phil Potter; son and daughter-in-law L.J. and Jo Lynn King; four grandchildren, Phil and Richard Potter and Tommy and Tracy King; five great-grandchildren, Amber and Justin Potter, Colton King and Kaitlyn and Emily King; and sister Lura Spalding.
Pallbearers will be David Cook, Charlie Woodard, Butch Hobson, Wesley Simpson, Jimmy Jones and Doug Potter.
