We wanted to say we are so deeply sorry to the family for their loss. My grandmother, Dardanella Daugherty was Eddie's aunt (her husband Jack was Mamie's brother). I (Lisa) found Eddie through a geneaology search about 6 years ago and we (my mom, grandmother, & I) had the pleasure of visiting with him & Henrietta several years ago. We just wanted to express our love & say if we'd known, we would have been there. They were both such wonderful, loving people!

Mr. Hughes was one of my favorite people and I always had such respect for him and appreciated the way he treated me. He always carried himself with dignity and was such a kind man. I enjoyed many rounds of golf with him and enjoyed Sunday brunch at the country club regularly with he and Mrs. Hughes. I will never forget him. Derik Daniels
