Born July 3, 1919 in Beaumont, Tx. to Zachary and Eliza (Webb) Cole. Died July 4, 2008 at Country Dreams Assisted Living in Pine Ridge, Tx.
She retired from HJISD in the food service department. She was a 50 member of Sour Lake OES Chapter # 75.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Ellison and daughter Betty Jo Kirkendall. Survivors include son Lewis Taylor Ellison and wife Rose of Pine Ridge; daughter Marilyn Ellison and husband Henry of Pine Ridge, daughter Addie Lehmann and husband Harold of Houston and son-in-law Buck Kirkendall of Fred; grandchildren Rosie Outlaw of Beaumont, David Ellison of Pine Ridge, Paula Miller of Tampa, FL., Lisa Watts of Fred, Malcolm Ellison of Bastrop, LA., Taysha Ellison of Pine Ridge, Aaron, Caleb and Joshua Kirkendall all of Fred; great grandchildren Charis, Jonathan and David Outlaw, Sarah and Kyle Miller, Allyssa and Dylan Watts, Carter and Emmalee Ellison and Anthony Kirkendall; brother Gordon Earl Cole of LaMarque and sisters Georgia Shell of Beaumont and Larue Richey of Orange.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, July 7, 2008 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Sour Lake with Rev. Don. V. Richey, Jr. officiating and interment following in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
