Funeral services for Murvil Louise Walters, 82, of Saratoga, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walters died May 14, 2009 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Nacogdoches December 17, 1926, Mrs. Walters lived in Silsbee for 66 years before moving to Saratoga in 2008. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Lem Walters, Jr. Survivors include sons Naymon Walters and wife LaVerne of Saratoga and Charles Walters and wife Bonnie of Silsbee; sisters Bonnie Parmley of Brownsboro and Dorothy Holmes of Humble; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
