Mickey Amburn, a loving father and son, was 44 years old. He died at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital from complications of a heart attack on August 2, 2009.
He was born August 21, 1964.
Mickey was preceded in death by his father Milton Delma Amburn. He is survived by his mother Rillie Ann Davis and stepfather of 34 years, Kenneth E. Davis; his two daughters Chelsey Renee and Jessica Michelle Amburn; grandchild Karson Ray Smith; his companion Lisa Guidry and her three children, Dean, Chrishna and Amaris. He is also survived by his brother Johnathan Amburn and sister Valarie Amburn, her husband Greg Grim and his four nieces Natasha, Natalie, Nadia and Naomi.
Mickey was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing crawfish boils and fish fries. He loved people and people loved him. He brought laughter with him wherever he went. We will dearly miss him.
Memorial services for Mickey will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
