Myrl Everett Hollyfield Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2009 Funeral services for Myrl Everett Hollyfield, 74, of Silsbee will be 2pm Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5pm Wednesday at Farmer Funeral home in Silsbee. Mr. Hollyfield died August 29, 2009 at Elko Nevada. He was a retired drafting Supervisor from Entergy. He was a native of Hardin County and Lifelong resident of Silsbee. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Sally Hollyfield, children Connie and husband John Danna of Kountze, Beverly Hollyfield of Houston, Tina and husband Gary Garza of Deer Park; stepchildren Jimmy Andrews and wife Jana of Warren, Julia Ann and husband Mike Boyd of Dickinson; sisters Mittie Richardson of Silsbee, Gladys Cunningham of Silsbee, Alta and Leston Gilmore of Columbus, Nettie and Nick Patel of Silsbee; grandchildren, Mistey Reeves, April Denham, Jeremy Bauman, Lacey Davenport, Donaly Thompson, Brandi Stutts, Timmy Flowers, Kanda Walker, James (Bubba)Andrews and Justin McNeely; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sally: We were sorry to hear of your loss. I really appreciated Myrl's effort in preserving the Hollyfield family history. He certainly passed on a lot to me. God bless you and the family.
