David 'Pat' Baker Pattillo, Jr.David "Pat" Baker Pattillo, Jr. went to be with his Lord on September 10, 2009. David was born on February 23, 1922 to David and Obler Lilly Pattillo of Call, Texas.

David proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. David married the love of his life, Jessie Lee Walton on November 23, 1942 in Kountze. They made their home in Lumberton and were blessed with three children. He retired in 1982 from Mobil Oil Refinery and they relocated to their lake home.

David was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-six years, Jessie Lee and his brothers, Travis Pattillo and Leroy Pattillo.

David is survived by his daughters, Barbara Bates and husband, Jack, Sue Wittman and husband, Gary all of Zavalla and son, Kenneth Pattillo and wife, Sandra of Warren. Paw-paw is survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. David will be missed by his brothers, James Elmer Pattillo of Franklin, Indiana, John D. Pattillo of Vidor, Norman Pattillo of Sparks, Nevada, Lynn Ray Pattillo of Lumberton, and sister, Linda Kay Woller of Corpus Christi. David will be missed greatly by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Walton Cemetery, in Lumberton. Visitation will begin 5pm Saturday at the funeral home.

i just wanted to saw i miss u so much pawpaw and i know u cant read this where u are but it makes me fell better thinken u might somehow. i know u know i loved you and all but i just fell in the last few weeks of your life i didnt have the chance to say it to you anuff. i love u so very much and miss you so much. love christine
