Funeral services for Robert Lee Williford, 89, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow in Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 5:00 Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Williford died September 12, 2009. He is preceded in death by his wife June Williford.
Robert was a native and lifelong resident of Kountze. He proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII. He was a Brick Mason with Texaco before he retired.
Survivors include sons Wayne Williford and wife Beverly and James Benton Williford all of Kountze; daughters Nancy Anders and husband Gerald of Kountze and Kathy Crone and husband Mike of Wildwood; sister Catherine Covington of Kountze; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons John Anders, Adam Anders, Cody Williford, Will Crone, Jeff Freeman and Jason Swain.
