George Emory Lester Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1936 - 2009 Funeral services for George Lester, 73, will be 10am Saturday September 19, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5pm Friday. Mr. Lester went to be with the Lord September 16, 2009. He was a native of Buna and resident of Orange. Mr. Lester was in the Army and served in Korea and Germany. He retired after 42 years of being in the commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration business. Mr. Lester was preceded by his parents Emery and Verline Lester. Survivors include his wife Vedna Lester of Orange; daughter Heidi Lee of Walters, OK; son Jerry and wife Sandy Hrncir of Kountze; daughter Karen and husband Buster Ogden of Lumberton; son Phillip and wife Linda Hrncir of Tulsa, OK; daughter Carol and husband Danny Haynes of Kirbyville; daughter Kim and husband Waylon Lewis of Western Groves, Ark.; twenty three granchildren and eleven great granchildren; five sisters Delores Hooks, Sally Bellamy, Ida Lester, Kathy Tarter, and Karen Murray all of Buna, also many nieces and nephews

My brother sent me the obituary about the passing of Mr. Lester because we have the same name. I knew a man by the same name who worked in the Pasadena area back in the '70s. He was also in the air conditioning business. I met him once when I was a disk jockey at KIKK in about 1974. I hope this email is not disturbing to you at this time. I am sorry for your loss.
