Jimmy Dale Powell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1937 - 2009 Jimmy Dale Powell, Sr., 72, of Silsbee passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Jim was a retiree of Eastex Paper Mill in Evadale. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 927. Survivors include wife, Nancy of Silsbee; daughter Sharon Benavides and husband Tom of Silsbee; sons Dale Powell and Ricky Powell, both of Silsbee; mother Versenia Powell of Silsbee; sister Glenda Cravey and husband Bruce of Silsbee; brothers Jerry Powell and wife Becky of Orange, Charles Powell and wife Jane of Silsbee; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Lodge 927.
