Funeral services for Jack Delbert Sewell, 71, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 5, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sewell died October 3, 2009 at his residence in Silsbee surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Saratoga, Jack was a long time Silsbee resident. He was a retired truck driver.
Preceded in death by his parents E. C. and Mattie Sewell and grandson James Carmack. Survivors include wife Irene Sewell of Silsbee; daughters Betty Keller of Nederland, Sally Kunk of Kountze and Michelle Clark of Nederland; son Jack Sewell, Jr. of Silsbee; stepdaughters Denise Hallum of Waxahachie, Melissa Robinson of Lumberton and Amanda Baker of Texas City; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
