Stephen L. West Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1957 - 2009 Funeral services for Stephen L. West, 52, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. West died October 2, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Stephen was a lifelong resident of Evadale. He was an operator for Ohmstede. Preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Cissie West. Survivors include son William Cody West of Evadale; daughter Stephany Nicole West of Longview; sister Joan Adkins of Evadale; brothers Cecil West, Jr. and wife Linda of Buna, James William West and wife Kathy of Evadale, Norman Lewis West of Vidor and Brian Wayne West and wife Debbie of Spring Branch and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Sorry to hear about Steve and his passing. He was a wonderful person and a great classmate. I will remember his wonderful athletic abilities. Steve had a kind heart and he will be missed.

We will love and miss him so much.The kids will also miss going to uncle steves getting them a fried egg sandwich. Was so sorry to hear that Steve had been sick and even more sorry to hear of his passing. I didn't realize that his visitation was Saturday until I got on Farmer's website this Sunday morning. Thought the visitation would be today, Sunday. I hate I missed it. Special prayers were lifted up for you, Steve, and your family. Your friend from years ago, Helen

I just wanted to say how sorry i am to no Steve is no longer here. He and i were real close when we were young. We danced many a dance together.Steve was a guy that i loved very much at one time and i will never forget him. He was a very special person and will be greatly missed. Pam
