Funeral services for Carl Lawrence 'Larry' Exline, 83, of Vidor will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Exline died October 7, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Texas City, Larry was a longtime resident of Vidor. He worked as an oil field supervisor and retired from Halliburton after 33 years of service. Mr. Exline proudly served his country in World War II in the US Navy.
Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Exline.
Survivors include his wife Bernice Ferguson Exline of Vidor; sons Pat Exline and wife Joyce of Hardin and Michael Exline and wife Christine of Sour Lake; step-son Vernon Ray Nobles and wife Tina of Broaddus; step-daughter Bonnie Jean Nobles of Beaumont; sister Audrey Brown of Mississippi; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
