1987 - 2009

Chase Sims, 22, of Village Mills, died Friday October 9, 2009. He graduated from Lumberton High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Chase was employed at CB&I in Beaumont.

Left to cherish his memories are; mother, Stacy Weatherton and husband Robert of Kountze; father, Clifford Sims and wife D.D. of Village Mills; sisters, Brooke Broxton and husband Brandon of China, Tx; Jessalyn Parker of Village Mills; brothers, Bryant Weatherton of San Diego, Ca; Nickolas Weatherton of Kountze; Russell Parker of Village Mills; Brody Parker of Village Mills; grandmothers Doris Warren of Lumberton; and Thelma Sims of Village Mills along with a host of friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday October 12, 2009 at Holland Cemetery in Village Mills. Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Sunday October 11, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Dear Clifford, Thelma and family: I saw the notice in the paper. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Having lost my only son, I know how much it hurts and will hurt forever. You learn to live with it and that is all you can do. May God bless you and give you His peace. Stay close to each other.
