Connie Leon Jackson, 76, of Orange, died November 20, 2009 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Jackson, TN and a longtime resident of Mauriceville. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and proudly served his country during the Korean War.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Jackson.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Sheek Jackson of Mauriceville; daughters, Deborah Smith of Mauriceville, Barbara Jackson of Mauriceville, Tammy Strickland of Mauriceville and Connie F. Jackson of Vidor; sons, David Jackson of Mauriceville, Mark Jackson of Vidor and Carl L. Jackson of Vidor; brother Johnnie Jackson of Mauriceville; sister Loretta Phillips of Vidor and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Vidor.
