Funeral services for Richard E. Jones, 76, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 22, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Silsbee with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones died November 20, 2009 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.
A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Richard was the owner of Jones Abbey Carpet. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his wife Wanda Jones. Survivors include daughter Lou Anne Parish of Silsbee; sister Mary Grace Bowers of Silsbee and three grandchildren Justin Jones, Elizabeth Sweatt and Caroline Sweatt.

Lou Anne and Mary Grace, we did not hear from Richard this year for first time. I tried the phone # and got nothing so went to the internet and got the obituaries of the Silsbee Bee. so sorry to hear about Richard and also Wanda. Let us hear from you. phone# 318-396-4441.
