Rex, I just heard from our classmate Barbara Gober of the loss of your wife, Connie. I am so sorry for your loss and I know she will be missed by you and all the family. I did not know your wife but from reading some of the other condolences messages I know she was a special and kind lady. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

It is with great sadness that I write this to Connie's family. We had the pleasure of knowing her and Rex through church, school, and as a special friend. My family was blessed to have had her in our lives through each of these ways. We love you and are praying for her entire family during this time of great loss.

I know that Heaven must have rejoiced as Connie entered its gates. We, in turn, mourn the loss of a loved- one. Connie touched so many lives through her talents, and her love of people. She may no longer be with us, but she has left footprints on our heart. We will surely have precious memories to keep close to our heart.

Mrs. Connie Atmar was a truly wonderful lady and a blessing to myself and my family. She shared her music talents with all that wanted them. She will be dearly missed at the New Cherry Grove Baptist Church. I know that I will have a hard time playing music and not being able to hear her piano. We love and miss you.

Connie was a dear friend for many years. She was as compasionate and supportive as anyone I have ever known. Her Christian faith was evident in every facet of her life. I pray God's blessings on her grieving family members and closest friends.
