Dahlia Faye Porter Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2010 Funeral services for Dahlia Faye Porter, 83, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment at 2:00 pm in Lonestar Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Porter died January 3, 2010 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville. Dahlia was a longtime resident of Kountze where she was a housewife. She is preceded in death by her husband Marshall Porter. Survivors include daughter Marsha Burns and husband Glenn of Kountze; sisters Billie Nipper of Texarkana and Alene Dolon of California; three grandchildren Garry Burns and wife Melinda, Scott Burns and wife Layna and Michael Burns and wife Ashley; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Marsha, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember that she was a very nice and polite lady. Marion informed the day of her funeral. I wish you and your family the very best and please accept my sincere condolences.
