Dorothy  TurnerFuneral services for Dorothy "Dot" Faircloth Turner, 69, of Vidor will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at Town Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Turner died January 16, 2010 at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas in Orange.

Dorothy was a native of Woodville and a longtime resident of Vidor. She was a retired nursing home dietician.

Preceded in death by parents Eddie Jay and Lillian Katherine Crosby Faircloth, brothers Lonnie "Bo" Faircloth and Charles "Buck" Faircloth and granddaughter Krista Conley.

Survivors include daughters Dynell Madden and Dana Burton both of Vidor; sons Wendell Faircloth of Grand Bay, Alabama, Bobby Williams and Raymond Williams both of Vidor; sisters Mary Blaylock of Lufkin, Ann Amerson of Winnsboro, Texas and Leah Graham of Deer Park, Texas; brothers Bill Faircloth of Colmesneil, Russell Faircloth and Albert Faircloth both of Zavalla and Carl Faircloth of Doucette; stepsisters Brenda Cloyd of Doucette and Diann Whitworth of Chester; step-mother Lottie Faircloth of Doucette; seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Was so very sorry to hear about Dots passing.I am so glad I ran into her at the hospital back in September it brought back a lot of memories of all the fun we had working together at the nursing home in Vidor. She was a wonderful ,caring person that loved her family and friends very much
