Joe Wayne SelfFuneral services for Joe Wayne Self, 75, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Self died January 26, 2010 at Harbor Hospital in Orange.

A native of Port Arthur, Joe was a long time resident of Silsbee. He was retired from Temple Inland. Joe proudly served his country in the Marine Corp in Korea.

Survivors include his loving wife Velma Cooley Self of Silsbee; son Robert Self and wife Gidgette of Sour Lake; daughter Rita Self of Silsbee; brother Roy Self of Neosho, MO; grandchildren Victoria Daniels and husband Bill of Nome and Randall Self of Sour Lake and great grandchildren Garrett and Gaige Daniels.
