Reita Rutledge Blackman of Bremerton, Washington went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2010 due to an illness. Reita was born in Beaumont, Texas on July 12, 1948.
She is survived by her husband Charles Blackman of Bremerton, Washington; son Richard (Carmen) Blackman of Fresno, California, son Randell (Kristin) Blackman and son Andrew (Jane) Blackman, and daughter Samantha Ely, all of Bremerton, Washington; mother Evon Rutledge, brother Gary (Cathryn) Rutledge of Lumberton; sisters Carolyn (Jerry) Fowler and Belinda Hyatt, both of Silsbee; and seven grand-children.
She is preceded in death by her father, Hardie L. Rutledge. She will be at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday January 31, 2010 at the funeral home with graveside service rights to follow at 2:00 pm Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial in Beaumont.
