Funeral services for Johnnie Lucille DeVries, 82, of Jonesborough, TN, formerly of Port Neches, will be 2:00 PM Friday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. DeVries died February 16, 2010 at her residence in Jonesborough.
A native of Evadale, she was a long time resident of Port Neches before moving to Tennessee two years ago. Mrs. DeVries worked as a pharmacy technician before retiring.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents Harry C. and Addie Johnson Goins, husband John Harry DeVries and daughter Daphne Craigen.
Survivors include her daughter Yvonne Christian of Jonesborough TN; son John Harry DeVries Jr. of Cartersville, GA; sister Faye (Tot) Nelams of Buna; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
