Funeral services for "Speedy" C.T. Adkins, 77, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Adkins died February 26, 2010 at Baptist Hospital.
He was a native of San Augustine and resident of Silsbee.
Mr. Adkins is survived by wife Avis Adkins; son Donnie Adkins of Beaumont; daughters Cammie Parker of Kountze and Julie Lynch of Nederland; sister Lura Mae Evans of San Augustine; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Speedy was a good man, who would give the shirt of his back to help anyone, speedy has left many good memories in my mind, my prayers good out to Avis & the Adkins family, he will be missed bye all who knew him thats a fact.
