David Gilbert Gandy Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2010 Funeral services for David Gilbert Gandy, 66, of Beaumont will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Gandy died February 27, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. David was a native on Honey Island and a longtime resident of Beaumont. He was a retired service station owner. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Gandy of Beaumont; daughters Tina Kemp of Vidor and Suzanne Cottenden of Dallas; grandchildren Kylee Cottenden and Emily Cottenden; sisters Helen Wessels of Altair, Texas, Hazel Matthews of South Houston and Dorothy Cooley of Kountze and brothers Don Gandy of Kountze, Ray Gandy of Sulphur, Louisiana and Charles Gandy of Kountze.

Pete was just a youngun when Ray and I went off to join the Navy in 1948, But I do remember he was a quite one.. I visited him at the Service Station a time or two when I was down there. You know I and I bet a bunch of other people never knew he had a middle name. I thought it was David Pete Gandy Please except my deep condolences on his untimily death.
