Lydia Mae HogueLydia Mae Bragg Hogue went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2010. She was born January 8, 1936 in Kirbyville, Texas and resided in Dam B at the time of her death.

She is preceded in death by three children Doris Smallwood, James Smallwood and Margaret Hooks.

She leaves behind three daughters Shirley Young of Deweyville, Delores Gore of Silsbee and Louise Kinard of Woodville and a son Raymond Smallwood, Jr. of Woodville, sixteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and one brother Leon Jacks of River Ridge, Louisiana.

The pallbearers will be Jason Morgan, Louis Morgan, Michael Morgan, Brandon Kinard, Charles Whiteside and Joshua Carroll.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home

I had the lovely blessing of knowing your loved one Mrs. Hogue.She always had a hug for me and she for me,I also worked with her kind daughter(Louise)!She's in the arms of JESUS now,no more pain,just joy untold!To see her again you must accept HIM as your SAVIOR too!LOVE&CONDOLENCES!,Scott.

I'm so sorry to hear about Polly. I know how you all will miss her and I will too. The reunion this year will not be the same without her wonderful rolls and all the other things she brought. I looked forward each year to see what she would bring. My prayers are with you as you go through this time. Remember when you think you can't make it, God will see you through. I will not be able to take off for the funeral since I am at a new job but my thoughts and prayers will be there. Love, Rosie
