Hallie Mae Harris, 92, of Buna, TX. passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Farmers Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Jeff Gravis and Reverend Talmedge Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in Morse Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday March 5, 2010 from 5-9pm at the funeral home.
Hallie was a native of Evadale and lived in the area all her life. She was a member of New Beginning Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, parents and brothers and sisters.
Hallie is survived by sons J.B. Harris and wife Evelyn of Etoile, Tx, Don Harris, Doug and wife Renee of Buna, Tx; daughters Louise and husband Jerry Jones of Nederland, Katie Stimits, Billie and husband Douglas Jones, Pauline Harris of Buna, Tx, Shirley and Ted Cappen of Fred, Tx, Iva Harris of China, Tx.; 26 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
