
Survivors include wife of 68 ½ years Shirley Fisher; sons James "Butch" Fisher and wife Marilyn, Howell "Rusty" Fisher and wife Linda; daughter Judith Broussard; seven grandchildren Jamie Fisher, Nesha Hooks, Currie Donon, Randy Purvis, Dale Broussard, Misty Wineland and Ricky Turner; sixteen great grandchildren and sister E-Lane Langston.
Mr. Fisher was the owner-operator of "Fisher's Service Center" in Beaumont from 1946 to 1973. He then taught automotive shop at Vidor High School for ten years. After retirement in 1988 he had a fun job for ARA at Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. He proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII.
Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
