Tom D. Barnes Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2010 Funeral services for Tom D. Barnes, 84, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 19, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home. Mr. Barnes died April 16, 2010 in Beaumont. A native of Trinity, he was a long time resident of Silsbee. Mr. Barnes retired from TXDOT as a licensed engineer technician and proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Survivors include his wife Louise D. Barnes of Silsbee; daughter Debby McWhorter and husband Ike of Silsbee; son David Barnes of Alpine, TX; grandchildren Perry Jones and wife Kathy, Shelley Jones and husband David, Damon Barnes and Dustin Barnes and wife Jessica and great grandchildren Brant Jones, Madelyn Jones, Carley Jones and his newest buddy Christian Jones.

Aunt Louise, I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Tom. You were both always such a big part of my life growing up & always treated me just like I was your true niece. I can't be there, but know that you're in my thoughts & prayers!
