Brittney...everyday I pull up to the student parking lot, I look over to your parking spot over by the softball field and your not there. I remember our junior year we'd sit with the seniors because we didn't like our class too much. Well now we've earned that senior section. Its so weird without you there to yell at me for doing something stupid, or not joining in on the activities. I miss you and this year is already so hard without you. Love you, Mason.

I have had the pleasure of growing up with Brittney. From Little League until now, we've grown extremely close. There was never a dull moment with her around. It's weird not having her standing beside me in softball as my fellow senior. It just shows that anything can change at any given time. I know that Brittney is smiling down at us and I know she's waiting for us. My heart is with you and your family. Britt was like a sister to me, and words cannot express my how sorry I am. No matter where Brittney is, she will always be beside me, our softball cheerleader. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to ask me. <3

My heart goes out to you. I remember how sweet you were to me in high school, therefore those memories never left. That is why i jumped on I10 to be there for you. I have been praying and asking why... why.... and the Lord is telling me she is an angel and needs to be in heaven. This world is awful Stewart and all I can say is she is in heaven and has no pain. I send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends on the passing of your beloved daughter and friend. When unforeseen occurrences befall us and the enemy death strikes our grief can be great and prolonged for days, months, and years. It is at times like these that we need comfort and support whether we are acquainted or not. May you find comfort in Almighty God's promises recorded in His word the Bible. All of God's promises will come true, for it is impossible for God to lie. One promise is found at John 5: 28 & 29: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Yes, Almighty God has promised, 'your dead ones will live, they will rise up...' You and I have the prospects of seeing our love ones again under the best condition possible, a beautiful Paradise; God's original purpose for mankind. Please note that it was never Gods purpose for mankind to experience the pain associated with death, for He gave mankind a perfect start. However, disobedience from our first parents passed sin, sickness, and death to all mankind. Nonetheless, Almighty God has promise to bring the enemy death to nothing, along with bringing back to life our dearly beloved ones. What a grand reunion that will be! In order for us to believe in these promises, we have to be certain that the one making the promises is both willing and able to fulfill them. The Bible scriptures do just that. Please, hold on to your wonderful memories that you have, for your love one will not be forgotten by you or Almighty God Jehovah.-Psalms 37:29, Luke 23:43, Genesis 1:28, Roman 5:12, Revelation 21: 3, 4, Hebrews 6:18.

I am very sorry for your loss. I did not know your daughter or your family, but I know your pain, I lost my 17 year old son in november 2008. there will be darkness and sorrow for the rest of our lives, but we will also find small moments of joy. I pray that God will wrap you in his loving, comforting arms and help you on this journey. we never ask for the title of grieving parent, nor do we want to wear these horrible concrete shoes, but someday, I hope we find a way to make them a little more comfortable until we can be with our children again. I will pray for your family.

Funeral services for Brittney Withers, 17, of Silsbee will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
