I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Sam's family at this time.
Sam was one of the finest men I have ever met in my years on this earth and his honesty and abilities were unquestioned.
Sam worked for me for several years when I was with Kirby and he was the person I looked to for advice when anything to do with Kirby or East Texas came up. I trusted his judgement a great deal.
He will be missed.
