Funeral services for Betty Cassial Smith, 72, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Saturday May 29, 2010 at Wiley Mae Church with interment following in Magnolia Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Friday May 28, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home.
Survivors include husband Barney Smith Jr., sister Jeanette Gore; daughter Vickie Currie and husband Floyd, daughter Stacey Kruzan and husband George, daughter Delia Riley and husband Sherman; step son Charles (Bill) Smith and several adopted kids; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Betty was born on November 30, 1937 in Fal LA. and was a lifelong resident of Silsbee, Tx. She became an adopted member of the Cheyenne Indian tribe nation where she was to be known as Grey Dove.
Mrs. Smith was also a member of the Genealogical Society, lifelong member of the Jack Gore Baygall Association and a loving mother and friend to many others.
