Funeral services for Betty Sue Oglesby, 75, of Kirbyville will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Oglesby departed this life June 9, 2010 at Equity Hospital in Houston.
A native of Fayette, AL, Mrs. Oglesby was a long time resident of Kirbyville. She loved to travel, fish, grow flowers and shop. She will not be forgotten and will surely be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Oglesby was preceded in death by her children, Larry Head and Gay Harrison.
Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Willie Gene Oglesby of Kirbyville; children, Betty and Doug Jones of Gulfport, MS, Judy and Terry Trahan of Lumberton, Gale and Johnny Brewer of Columbus, MS, Brenda and Charles Reed of Lumberton, Mark and Debbie Atkins of Kirbyville, Sheila and Charles Gore of Huntsville, AL; nineteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
