Graveside services for Juanita Lorene Gregory Spurlock, 92, of Port Arthur and formerly of Fred will be 10:00 AM Saturday July 3, 2010 at Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 Friday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Spurlock died June 30, 2010 at Procter Community Retirement Home in Port Arthur.
Mrs. Spurlock was a retired school teacher in Nederland. After retiring, she moved to Fred where she lived for many years. She was an active member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters Wanda Arnaud of Spurger and Earline Ingle of Woodville; two sons, James Spurlock and Tobe Spurlock, both of Woodville; two brothers, Kenneth Gregory of Austin and Keith Gregory of Fred; numerous granchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Community Retirement Home, 3141 Procter St, Pt. Arthur, TX 77642,the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or to the Community Retirement Center in Port Arthur.
