Funeral services for James Edward Stuart, Sr., 87, of Silsbee are 5:00 pm Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stuart was born January 11, 1923 and passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Zavalla, Mr. Stuart was a long time resident of Silsbee. He worked as a structural steel superintendant for Livingston Specialties before retiring. James proudly served his country in the Air Force during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his son Albert Keith Stuart, brother Duel Ray Stuart and sister Emma Joyce Webb.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Bobbie Lynn Stuart of Silsbee; sons, James Stuart Jr. of Town Bluff, Randy Stuart and wife Terri of Zavalla and Ricky Stuart and wife Terri of Silsbee; grandchildren, Don and Kelly Horne of Silsbee, Stacey and Dennis Huddleston of Knoxville, Sharla Stuart of Baytown, Jason Stuart of Jefferson City, Kimberly Adams of Silsbee, Jamie Stuart of Knoxville, Butch and Megan Stuart of Jasper, Sandy Glassgoo(??) of Silsbee, Kim Stuart of Orange, Brandon and Katy Stuart of Silsbee, Josh Stuart of Silsbee and Randi and Wayne Istre of Silsbee. James is also survived by twenty great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
