Funeral services for Webster Gilchriest, 70, of Fred will be 2:00pm Friday, August 27, 2010 at South Spurger Worship Center with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Thursday, August 27, 2010 at the church.
Mr. Gilchriest died August 24, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native and lifelong resident of Fred, Webster was a retired carpenter. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war.
He is survived by wife Adriane Gilchriest; sons Malone Gilchriest of Silsbee and James Gilchriest of Spurger; daughters Nora Fuller and Sophia West, both of Silsbee, Charlene Fountain, Kallie Gilchriest, Tabitha Gilchriest and Marissa Gilchriest, all of Fred; brothers Arthur and Kenneth Gilchriest, both of Fred and sisters Norma Lilley and Dorothy Clinard, both also of Fred.
