Funeral services for Julia Francis Hunt, 83, of Silsbee and formerly of Warren, will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Guidry Cemetery in Batson. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hunt died August 29, 2010 at We Care Home in Groves.
A native of Daisetta, Mrs. Hunt was a long time resident of Warren before moving to Silsbee. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.
Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband Ernest B. Hunt and son Kenneth Doyle 'Bubba' Hunt.
Survivors include her sons Edward G. Hunt of Silsbee and Ernest E. Hunt of Beaumont.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice and the staff of We Care Home for their loving care of Mrs. Hunt.
