Delores Ann Oliver Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1938 - 2010 Delores Ann Oliver, 72 of Spurger, Tx went home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 5, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Lonnie L. Oliver and her 3 children; Lloyd Oliver, Sherry Alfaro, Teresa Lee and their spouses. She was an amazing grandmother to her 8 grandchildren as well as to her 14 great grandchildren. Mawee, we love you and will miss you so much! Thank you for touching us all in a special way and for leaving us with a family legacy that will live in our hearts forever. Rest in sweet Heavenly peace with Bigma & Odell. Special thanks to the Staff of St. Elizabeth ICU department. Funeral services for Mrs. Oliver will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Tuesday September 7, 2010 at the funeral home.

I'm so sorry that we didn't get to spend our lives together as sisters should but I always loved you. Someday we can have a wonderful time in heaven together.

I would like to say that you will be missed so much Mawee.... I know that you will be in no more pain, but it is very hard for me and the kids... You touched many lives with your unconditional love . I hope to be just like you.. You have lived a very good life... I can look back on all those times you tricked me into rubbing your feet, telling me you were gonna give me a yankie dime,(a kiss) and I always fell for it everytime, but when I got older... I didn't mined rubbing your pretty feet for free, with out kisses!! That is one of many memories that I will cherish.. Oh and you taught me how to play Rummi... To the Oliver Family: My Prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. You may not know who I am but Odell and I were best friends in school and he ended up having children with another good friend of mine Mary Sue. Just try to remember that your mother and wife is in a better place now. There is no more pain, suffering nor worrying. She is at peace and will be watching over each and everyone of you.
