Lucille Evelyn Barnes Bumstead Edwards Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2010 Funeral services for Lucille Evelyn Barnes Bumstead Edwards, 87, of Silsbee will be 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Edwards died September 13, 2010 at Clairmont Nursing Center in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, Mrs. Edwards was a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a graduate of South Park High School and worked as an American National Insurance agent before retiring. Survivors include daughters Liz Bode and husband Bill of Beaumont and Charlie Bumstead Mosley of Lubbock; sons Edward Bumstead and wife Linda of Kountze and John Bumstead of Silsbee; sister Josephine Starnes of Beaumont; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Bumstead, Gene Bumstead, Leon McMillan, Kevin Bumstead, Kyle McMillan, Sean Ohlrich and Thomas Mosley.

I think you Mom was the last one left in our old neighborhood. Fond memories of growing up there. We had some great neighbors. They must all be up there enjoying each other again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

The family is in my thoughts and prayers.Lucille enjoyed life and always found humor in everyday things! I will miss hearing her laugh as she watched the "I love Lucy show."
