Audrey Louise Patton Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1924 - 2010 Funeral services for Audrey Louise Patton, 86, of Silsbee will be 10:00 AM Friday, October 1, 2010 at St. John's Episcopal Church with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at RS Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs. Patton died September 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was a native of North Carolina and long time resident of Silsbee. Mrs. Patton loved doing volunteer work for Silsbee Convalescent Center, Christian Care Center, the Silsbee Public Library and was a long time member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Elaine Bowman of Beaumont and Audrey Louise Patton of Silsbee; two grandchildren, Josie Lee Phelps and Erin Elaine Bowman of; two great grandchildren Meredith Elaine Phelps and Andrew Nicholas Phelps; niece Merrie Esther Dorval and nephew Michael Appleman.

Audrey Patton was such a great lady to deal with when I started my business 27 years ago in Beaumont. She rented me a building on Crockett Street and made it so easy for me to move in. She not only was the perfect landlord but also a person I could call and talk to about business and family. Without people like Audrey, it would have been impossible to start up.
