Mom I wish you were still with us but know you are in a far better place. It is six months later and I still can't believe you're really gone. I wish we could make one more shopping trip or stay on the phone talking for hours about nothing but laughing because we just enjoyed hearing each other ramble. You were the best mom and I miss you dearly.

I work at the post office in Conroe(as a clerk in processing, not a window clerk), and just wanted the family to know that Dorothy will be greatly missed. She always had a smile for everyone, even when she was not feeling her best. She was incredibly thoughtful--giving everyone ornaments at Christmas(even when she was new and didn't know anyone that well).I'm sure she was an incredible mother.

I went to the post office in Conroe today as I do at least once a week and saw a beautiful bouquet of flowers with Dottie's name. I was totally shocked to find out she was gone. My Prayers and sympathy go out to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Dorothy 'Dottie' Helms Williams, age 61, a native of Pasadena and a resident of Conroe, passed away Saturday September 25, 2010 at her home in Conroe.
