Elbirt E. 'Shot' Walker Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2010 Elbirt Edward 'Shot' Walker was born December 12, 1934 and passed away September 28, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Walker was born in Duke, OK to Trula Stroud Walker and William Lee Walker. He was a longtime resident of Silsbee and worked as a self employed carpenter. Elbirt was preceded in death by his parents, son Robert Walker, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Oma Lee Eason Walker of Silsbee; sons Richard Walker of Fred, Ruben Walker and Glen Walker, both of Silsbee; daughter Dena Christopher of Silsbee; brothers, Bobby Walker, Leonard Walker and Rheubin Walker; sisters, Josephine Hamilton and Neva June Winstead; six grandchildren, Johnny Walker, Mallisa Walker, Justice Walker, Derrick Walker, Ashley Dougherty and Braden Christopher and five great grandchildren, Stormy Walker, Bryceton Walker, Seth Walker, Harley Gillmore, Anna Gillmore and Logan Walker. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Oma Lee and Family I'm so sorry for you loss. I know Shot was a huge part of your lives-especially those grandkids. I didn't know until yesterday that he passed away. I always told everyone he was the most talented carpenter I ever met. Praying for you.
