Dorothy Goff Teaff, 85, died on Thursday September 30, 2010 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Center.
A native of Taylor Texas where she graduated from high school, Dorothy was born October 12, 1924 in Cameron, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock on a band scholarship. Dorothy spent her working life as a bookkeeper.
Her husband Wallace D. Teaff, Sr., her parents Texas and Lennie Hyde Goff, and her brother F. Paxton Goff preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Wallace D. Teaff, Jr. and wife Jo Ann of College Station, Tx., Robert (Bob) M. Teaff and wife Teresa of Shelbyville, Tenn., Ron W. Teaff, Sr. and wife Bridget of Orange, Tx., William (Bill) F. Teaff and wife Bambi of Clear Lake, Tx.,
Also surviving her are ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Silsbee Oaks Health Care, Silsbee Texas or the activities department of Hospice of Texas.
